As TVs continue to change, there’s no doubt that smart TVs have become a part of our lives. You can watch movies on a TV not only with a DVD player, but also by streaming them. LG Smart TVs: What You Need to Know
LG has come a long way, and right now, their smart TVs are some of the best and most popular in the world. Yeah, LG has been the best TV company for a long time, and they are still the best when it comes to making different kinds of smart TV.
LG Smart TVs use the Web OS, which is a Linux-based Kanye West system that was made for all smart TVs. This OS makes it easy for you to control your smart TV’s functions and gives you peace of mind.
LG TVs have a store of their own. This is one of my favourite things about LG. You can download a lot of different apps and content from the store, including DirecTV.
What exactly is DirecTV?
Direct TV is a service that lets you watch live TV online. You can get it from any online store and put it on your LG Smart TV. AT&T TV is now called Direct TV, and you can get it without signing a new contract with AT&T.
You can get Direct TV from the LG app store and put it on your LG smart TV so you can stream movies, shows, and TV shows. To put this TV on your smart TV, you will need to follow some steps.
How to Get the DirecTV Stream App on an LG Smart TV
Before I explain the process, let’s start with the fact that we all know this app, Direct TV, is not directly compatible with LG smart TVs. But there is a way around this problem that we can use to make it work. Since the directory can’t be downloaded on LG, screen sharing is the only way to use it. Follow the steps below to do that:
- Now, go to the app store or play store on your mobile device and download Direct TV.
- Once you’ve downloaded the app, connect your LG TV and Android device to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Go to the home page of your LG smart TV and click on the Screen Sharing option.
- Get the cover off your phone and look on the screen for something that says “screen mirroring.” If you can’t find it, go to your device’s screen sharing feature and tap on it.
- After you click on “Share screen,” a list of all nearby devices that are ready to share screen will show up. Choose the LG smart TV from the list.
- Your TV will show a pop-up message, which will be quickly followed by whatever is showing on your phone.
- Now, if you open the Direct TV app on your phone, it will also show up on your LG TV.
- Finally, use your Android device to start streaming direct TV.
Note: If you want a clear and smooth streaming experience, make sure to use Wi-Fi with a very strong internet connection. Also, the best way to stream anything is to have a connection that lets you use as much data as you want.
