Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey Mix Business and Pleasure

According to The Washington Post, Landon Donovan is heading back to Cali this weekend for the wedding of his twin sister Tristan; and won’t return to DC until late Saturday, cutting it awfully close to Sunday’s 3 p.m. Gold Cup quarterfinal against Jamaica. Coincidentally, Clint Dempsey’s sister is also getting married this weekend in Texas, so he’ll also miss pre-matching training. The lads are at least getting private jets to shuttle them back from their wedding weekends.

Let’s hope these two keep it all business —  no partying in the back, sneaking beers boys. Stay hydrated!
